Hotel La Fiancee Du Pirate, Villefranche-sur-Mer

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms, although a bit small, were perfect for us and pretty clean, offering a comfortable experience with just a minor issue of humidity. The service was top-notch, with the staff being super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The location, boasting an excellent view of the French Riviera coast, was fabulous for catching buses to Nice or Monaco but could be challenging without a car due to the steep walk. The dining options were quite limited in choice but included delicious freshly made crepes. Overall, a pleasant experience with a few minor drawbacks.

The hotel offers a more like serviced apartment building experience, with slightly small rooms, but it's compensated by a lovely breakfast. The hotel was situated on a very steep hill, providing superb views over the town of Villefranche-sur-Mer. The rooms were basic but had everything you needed, albeit a bit damp due to the limited number of rooms. The service, especially Victoria's assistance on local travel, was excellent. The dining was very good, with tasty meals and a beautiful view of Villefranche-sur-Mer. The location was ideal for strolls in the old town and convenient for reaching Nice or Monaco.
